WOW!

Look, I'm the first to say that the NFL Draft can be the most overrated event in all of sports. Just everything that goes into it with the hype, the mock drafts and the talking heads can make me want to gargle Drano. However, when you get to the event, it just overtakes you. It's like walking into a bar that you really don't have expectations in hooking up at, but then all of a sudden, the Swedish bikini team walks in, and you just get caught up in the moment. Alright, maybe that metaphor doesn't work. Lets just say, you can downplay the draft all you want, but when the event gets here, it represents a glimmer of hope for fans.

2011 NFL Mock Draft: Will Buffalo Bills Trade Up for Colin Kaepernick?

Written by Rob on .

colin-kaepernick

Colin Kaepernick, quarterback of Nevada, has seen his draft stock rise from being projected as a mid round draft pick in the third or fourth round range to as high as a low first rounder ever since the NFL combine.

Last season, the 4-12 Bills ranked 24th in the league in passing, averaging 197 yards per game through the air with Ryan Fitzpatrick throwing for 3,000 yards and 23 touchdowns to just 15 interceptions. no comments

2011 NFL Mock Draft: Will Christian Ponder Be the Buffalo Bills' Franchise QB?

Christian-Ponder-20111

The Buffalo Bills haven't had the greatest success at the quarterback position ever since Jim Kelly retired. Fans have watched in misery as Trent Edwards, Rob Johnson and J.P Losman struggled to manage the Buffalo offense.

All signs point to the Bills addressing the defensive side of the ball with their No. 3 overall pick in Thursday, April 28's draft, but they might look at their franchise quarterback with the No. 34 overall pick in the second round. no comments

2011 NFL Mock Draft: Making A Case For Von Miller Over Cam Newton For The Buffalo Bills

Many draft gurus around the league have the Buffalo Bills tied to either Auburn quarterback Cam Newton or Texas A&M defensive end/outside linebacker Von Miller.

With the 2011 NFL draft approaching quickly, the Bills can't afford to miss on the No. 3 overall pick. The last time they picked that high, the Bills selected defensive end/outside linebacker Bruce Smith, who currently holds the record for career sacks with over 200.

Assuming the Carolina Panthers don't select Cam Newton, he will be on the board when the Bills are on the clock. no comments

2011 NFL Draft: Patrick Peterson The Better Pick For Buffalo Bills Over Von Miller

Written by Rob on .

Patrick-Peterson

The 2011 NFL Draft is a week away, and every mock draft around the web has the Buffalo Bills selecting Von Miller, Texas A&M pass rushing linebacker with their No. 3 overall pick.

There is no question that Miller is an intriguing prospect, considering his collegiate production that resulted in 33 sacks and 50.5 tackles for a loss.

However, Patrick Peterson, cornerback out of Louisiana State, is considered by many to be the best overall prospect in the draft. no comments
